Corporate Work - Projects
I've worked on numerous projects for production companies as a cameraman, editor and director. Below are a number of examples that I have recently been commissioned to work on.
IRIS - Adidas Greg McMillan videos
Advertising agency Iris Nation contracted me to direct a series of videos for Adidas's online TV channel Adidas TV. The concept behind the video was to take 6 runners of varying standards from all over the world to Flagstaff - Arizona to be coached by world famous running guru Greg McMillan. The videos are being used as part of Adidas campaign that 'every runner is different'. This enabled Adidas to challenge their major competitors reinforcing the technological advancements and diversity of their footwear range.
GSK - Product launch
GlaxoSmithKline a multinational pharmaceutical company commissioned the filming and editing of a product launch for their European markets. I operated the Sony EX PMW camera to film the 3 hours launch, edited the key message into a 1 hour video and duplicated DVD's for internal market distribution. This was key to extend the training and provided a refresh of the data post launch.
Samsung - Internal conference video
Samsung commissioned a 10-minute video to be shown at their European conference. The video collated the views and insights of a number of Samsung's high profile clients so senior management could evaluate performance gaps to improve the products and services provided.
Ben Montague - EPK music video
Musician Ben Montague (Radio 1 play list artist) commissioned a performance video of his single 'Haunted'. I creatively directed and produced the 2 day video shoot at Battersea Studios which was designed for maximise Ben's presence on-line. The 5-minute EPK video showcasing a variety of Ben's music was used to negotiate his record deal.
Ben Saunders - HP sponsorship pitch
Polar Explorer Ben Saunders is one of the UK leading adventure athletes and last year was seeking sponsorship for his speed record expedition across The North Pole. Ben approached me to put together a sponsorship pitch video for his main sponsor Hewlett Packard. The video incorporated segments of Ben's previous expeditions, a day filming his training in Surrey and an explanation of how digital technology has changed the face of 21st century exploration.
The Great Escape - Music Festival
Musical Festival director Jamie Emsell commissioned the filming and editing of The Great Escape Music Festival from 2006-2009. The videos have been used to attract increased sponsorship and raise awareness of the charity - Spinal Research UK.
Heroes and Villains - Making of British feature film
'One Vision Films' wanted a 30 minute 'behind the scenes' documentary produced for British feature film 'Heros and Villains' staring Jenny Agutter. The video was used as an extra feature on the DVD and sections have been used to promote the film around the world. I directed, filmed and edited it.
